new year in tampa

I'm spendng new year in tampa. i got here about 3 hours ago. i'm having a lot of fun. first, D.D and daddy fixed the t.v. next, they played crazy golf on the wii. D.D lost by a lot.

we are waiting for our cousins to arrive. our party will start soon, keep looking for more posts. happy new year. bye!

what i hope 2010 will bring

tomorrow is the last day of 2009! what i hope 2010 wil bring is, first,a lot of new friends. second,i have a goal this year. i want to read 46 new books this year. another goal is i want to do a progect on a animal i don't know much about. i hope 2010 will bringlots of fun and the new bike i want. what do you want 2010 to bring?

my hobbies

i have many diffrent hobbies. my first hobbie is dancing.i take jazz and my teacher's name is mrs Amanda. mrs. Amanda is relly fun. Sometimes if were lucky we get a special treat. my second hobbie is writting. i love to write about interesting stories i have heard from my friends and family. i also like to write fiction stories. on webkinz i like to read about my friends made up stories and re write them. (athough i put in some words of my own that makes the stories better.)speaking of reading i LOVE to READ!my favorite athour is ronald dahl. he writes very funny stories. my favorite book by him is james and the giant peach (wellit's the only one i've read.). it is about a boy who drops magic seeds by a peach tree. a giant peach grows with giant insects inside!i don't want to spoil it for you so you should read it yourself! my next hobbie is cooking. my favorite tv cooker is rachal ray. once i looked through her cookbook and found this amazing recipe! it is called quesadilla pizzas. we made them and they were great! my last hobbie is gardening. a wile ago we planted a rose bush. igave half of them to my preschool teacher mrs Lanam. she loved them! the other half we put in a pretty vase. now you know all the hobbies i do exsept drawing. remember, keep looking for more posts!

a couple days ago i started reading genesis ( a book in the bible.) i make notes in my bible. do you want to hear one? okay, in chapter 1 and 2 god modles what we should do every week because he worked very hard and then he rested on the seventh day.
fun fact
do you think god ever rested because he was tired? if you picked no your right! god isn't a human. god can do anything!and nothing makes him tired, not even createing the earth! he rested because he was showing us what we need to do. we need to work hard and then rest.

i have other hobbies beside bible study.i also do dance. when i grow up i want to be a teacher.

A note from Mom

So Abby and Nick decided they wanted to blog. I didn't realize they new what blogging was! Haha! Life as an kid in the 21st century. It started as an idea to blog about bible verses. They decided a couple nights ago to start reading Genesis, and they have such fun insight to what they read. I said we needed to share their thoughts and that's when the blog idea came about. But as we started setting it up, Abby asked if she could blog about others things as well...the idea of writing her thoughts for the whole world to read (or at least the few people who will read her blog) just captivated her! Imagine that. lol. So anyway...here is their blog. As you can see it is called Abby's World and a picture of Abby has been added. This is because her brother is too busy building lego space police stations with his dad as we are setting the blog up. You snooze, you lose. But he may be adding his two cents as time goes by as well.
